Manit Patel is a senior staff writer on the Huron Emery. This is his second year on staff. He enjoys writing about sports, watching sports, and playing water polo in his downtime. He got into writing at the recommendation of his 10th grade English teacher. Since starting last year, he has won 5 awards for his writing and photography, and hopes to expand that even more as he continues to write beyond high school. Manit hopes to go to either Michigan State or McKendree for journalism.
