Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: I’m the president of Hurons Black Student Union, I like to work out, and I play volleyball from time to time.
Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?
A: A class I would recommend is AP English. It definitely challenges you, but by the end of the class, you will be grateful you took it and will definitely see your essay skills improve. One club I recommend is the Black Student Union; it is a club where African Americans plan events to celebrate and express our culture. Another club I recommend is the girls’ group. It’s a club for girls and helps with college planning. Overall, it’s a club in which you will make lifelong friends.
Q: How are you feeling about graduating this year?
A: I’m ready to go and I’m so happy about it, but it also makes me feel a bit sad because we’re all grown up now and will be going our separate ways.
Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?
A: One memory I will remember is performing at Multi-culti.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?
A: One piece of advice is to stay motivated and watch who you hang out with.
Q: What will you miss most about high school?
A: I will miss seeing my friends everyday and just the memories I made with them.
