Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.
A: Hi! I’m Olivia Liao and I’m a sophomore at Huron. Some things I do out of school include: Crew, listening to Taylor Swift, and studying.
Q: What was your favorite Huron event from last year, and what did you like about it?
A: I don’t have a favorite Huron event from last year, they were all kinda boring…
Q: What is your favorite class at Huron and what do you like about it?
A: My favorite hour at Huron is lunch because it is the only hour that is stress free.
Q: What is a class you want to take in the future, and why does it interest you?
A: In the future I want to take DP Literature because you get to analyze an entire album and I love music.
Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers at Huron and why?
A: One of my favorite teachers at Huron is Mr. Wheeler because I love his class and he’s a great teacher.
Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: I strongly dislike personal projects because I feel that the pass/fail mechanism instead of grading promotes a high level of laziness and slacking off among students.
Q: What is your favorite memory from last year and why?
A: My favorite memory from last year was Multi-Culti because it was a super fun experience getting to prepare and perform with friends.
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: Stop watching so much Tiktok.
Q: What is something you weren’t expecting about sophomore year?
A: I wasn’t expecting for life to feel the exact same.

A: I can recite any strange facts from Harry Potter you ask me.

A: The Tortured Poets Department is actually one of Taylor Swift’s best albums and Jack Antenoff does not in fact seem repetitive.
