Senior Sunday: Jackson Keefer

Q: Tell me a little about yourself and things you do in and out of school?

A: My name is Jackson. I play basketball. I come from a big family. I used to play football and run track.

 

Q: Out of all your clubs, extracurriculars, and sports, which one is your favorite and why?

A:  My favorite extracurricular is basketball. This is my favorite because it is the one I enjoy the most 

 

Q: What is your favorite Huron event? (Multi Culti, Pep Rally, Homecoming, etc)

A: I really liked both prep rallies because I was able to compete in them and have fun. 

 

Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and what do you like about it?

A:  Lunch room so I can eat

 

Q: What is your favorite high school memory?

A:  winning a basketball game in grand rapids or prom. 

 

Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers and why?

A:  Mr. Schuitman because he is fun and a good teacher. But he is also serious. 

 

Q:  Which of the classes that you’ve taken is your favorite and why?

A:  I liked AP stats because it was hands on and fun

 

Q: What are you thinking of doing after high school?

A: I am going to Kalamazoo College and playing basketball.

 

Q: What is something you’d redo throughout your high school experience if you could start over?

A:  I would talk to more people and build better relationships. I would also go to more events and not just sit at home. 

 

Q: What piece of advice would you give to the underclassmen?

A: I would say put an emphasis on enjoying your time here and not taking everything so seriously because before you know it your time will be done. 

 

Q: What is a hot take of yours?

A: The NBA draft lottery is rigged against the pistons. 

 

Q: What will you miss most about high school?

A: I will miss my friends and my relationships that I have here with the teachers and stuff like that.
