Junior Jumpstart Monday: Tayla Nesmith

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.

A: In school I’m enrolled in the CUlinary CTE program and hangout with my friends. Outside of school I read, babysit, do hair, and just chill on my phone.

 

Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)

A: My favorite Huron event was the pep rally in the auditorium because it was really fun.

Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch table, classroom, outdoor area, etc.)

A: My favorite spot is class because I get to see all my besties.

Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?

A: My favorite high school memory was in freshman year when somebody sprayed fart spray in the hallway, and the smell followed me and my friend all the way down the hall.

 

Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?

A: I would teach people how to write raps.

Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?

A: I would do better in Algebra II.

Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?

A: I can snap my ring fingers.

 

Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?

A: My favorite season is fall because I have a fall birthday.

Q: Who is your idol and why?

A: My idol is Nicki Minaj because she inspires me to stay in school.

Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?

A: Don’t let time get away from you.

Q: What is a hot take of yours?

A: Oreos are not good.
