Sophomore Saturday: Thayer Wallace

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.

A: I play baseball, after baseball I get homework done, talk to friends on the phone and repeat. I love me some Wingstop on occasion also.

 

Q: What was your favorite Huron event from last year, and what did you like about it? 

A: All football games in general. I liked them because they have delicious food trucks and I could walk around with my friends. 

 

Q: What is your favorite class at Huron and what do you like about it?

A: Math, I find it interesting. I feel like math is kind of my strong suit.

 

Q: What is a class you want to take in the future, and why does it interest you?

A:  Math because I seem to excel.

 

Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers at Huron and why?

A:  Mr Lincoln, because he gave me a peach last year

 

Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?

A:  I thought mine was okay. I kind of did a project that was a little too hard and time consuming for me, I built a picture mound out of wood.

 

Q: What is your favorite memory from last year and why?

A: When Mr Lincoln brought me a peach.

 

Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be? 

A: I would mess around less, because I was missing a lot of homework last year.

 

Q: What is something you weren’t expecting about sophomore year?

A: The amount of homework. It was kind of a lot compared to last year.

 

Q: What is an interesting face or hidden talent about yourself?

A: Cooking. I enjoy cooking in my free time.

 

Q: What is a hot take of yours?

A: My baseball team could beat a girls softball team in softball.
