Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “Hey everyone, my name is Jay, I love dancing, swimming, and music. I also love hanging out with my friends.”
Q: How would you describe your transition from middle to high school?
A: “It was very different. My first week, I got so lost in every other class. Huron is much bigger than Clague. But overall, I love it much more than middle school, I have a lot more freedom.”
Q: What class is the most interesting so far and why?
A: “I really love band, I did band in middle school, but the pieces we get to play at Huron are much more interesting, so it pushes me to be better.”
Q: What are 3 words to describe your first months of high school and why?
A: “Stressful, confusing, and fun.”
Q: How has high school surprised you so far? Were there any skills you had to learn to get work done or fit school into your schedule?
A: “What surprised me was the number of new people I would meet. I already knew that Huron was bigger, but the scale really didn’t hit me until I met so many new faces in all my different classes.”
Q: How do you want to remember your high school experience four years later? What are you doing now or how do you plan to make that happen?
A: “I want to be remembered as the person people can count on.”
