Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.

A: Hi, my name is Hajune Kim, and I am a junior at Huron High School.

Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)

A: I really enjoy personal project fairs! It’s amazing to see students exploring and experimenting with different ideas and projects. Plus, there’s always something new and interesting to learn from the exhibits.

Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch tables, classrooms, outdoor areas, etc.)

A: My favorite place at Huron is a music practice room. It’s a creative oasis where students can unleash their artistic talents and express themselves through various mediums. The practice room often has a vibrant atmosphere filled with inspiration and imaginative energy. It’s a place where students can explore their creativity freely and create beautiful works of art.

Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?

A: My favorite high school memory was leaving early to go to McDonalds and getting four large fries, a McDouble, and four piece chicken nuggets. It was fascinating to eat such a flamboyant meal that changed how I viewed the world.

Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?

A: I would love to teach rizz – teaching students of the wonders of rizzing. For a more analytical approach, this class could explore Rizz as a mathematical or scientific phenomenon, where students would investigate patterns, algorithms, or theoretical concepts related to Rizz, applying mathematical or scientific methods to study its properties.

Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?

A: One thing I would have changed last year would be getting to know the people around me better. During my sophomore year, I had the opportunity to meet new individuals and deepen friendships with many of them. However, over the summer and at the beginning of the new school year, I unfortunately lost touch with some of these friends. Looking back, I regret not maintaining those connections better.

Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?

A: A hidden talent about myself is that I am really good at looking at people.

Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?

A: My favorite season is fall because I ʕ♡ᴥ♡ʔ the weather! Also, my birthday is during the fall.

Q: Who is your idol and why?

A: Me myself and I

Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?

A: Always say yes

Q: What is a hot take of yours?

A: Do you have a map? Cause I got lost in your eyes…
