Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “I play softball. I am in the climbing club. I am a girl scout.”
Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?
A: “I would definitely recommend climbing club. It’s a really positive space, and it’s very beginner-friendly. I just think that we all really have a fun time in climbing club.”
Q: What’s an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: “I’ve been playing softball since I was five.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
A: “Hopefully with a chemistry job, because I actually am really interested in chemistry, and that’s what I want to major in. Specifically, analytical chemistry.”
Q: How do you feel about starting junior year and why?
A: “I was scared for the SAT and I still am. But other than that, junior year is light work, like it’s really not that much, and I’m lucky [that I am] just having fun.”
Q: Who is your idol and why?
A: “Probably my mom. She’s just a really important figure to me, and she’s a chemical engineer, so I feel like I get my chemical smarts from her. So I really do look up to her.”
Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?
A: “One lesson high school has taught me is be yourself and don’t really worry about what other people think about you, because at the end of the day, who cares?”
