Q: Tell us a little about yourself.

A: “I’m Daija Rankin, I’m a senior at Huron High School. I’m 17, and I like to debate, crochet, and take pictures.”

 

Q: What has been your favorite part about the school year so far?:

A:  “My favorite part of this school year so far has been the return of normalcy. Covid and all its effects are finally over and it is refreshing to feel like the world has been restored. being back in person w optional mask, being able to go to sporting events, dances, clubs, etc. All that finally happening again makes senior year feel so much more real and stable.”

 

Q: What is one goal you have for this year?

A: “One goal I have for this school year is to make the most out of my last year of high school. In all areas of my life (school, social, and home) I want to take advantage of every single opportunity that will bring me joy or/and success.”

 

Q: What is your favorite class, and why is it your favorite?

A: “My favorite class is probably philosophy with Ms. Jones. It is my favorite class because of the conversations we have. We talk all class period most days, and it’s interesting to hear how my peers view the world through a philosophical lens.”

 

Q: What clubs or sports are you involved in?

A:  “I am involved in girls group, and in the spring I plan to be a part of the Huron softball team.”
