Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “Hi! I’m Sakshi, I play piano and dance, and my favorite hobby is thrifting or watching movies!”
Q: How is this year’s learning different from last year’s?
A: “This year I think it’s harder to focus in class, especially because being a sophomore can be a bit disillusioning.”
Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?
A: “I really enjoy my history and English class because those are typically my favorite subjects, but I find the course material quite interesting too!”
Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?
A: “I was surprised to see how many more people we have at Huron now. Before, I felt like the hallways were more manageable to walk through.”
Q: What are your thoughts about the Personal Project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: “I thought Personal Project was a fun class to have, but I think it should’ve been optional. It was hard to manage my time to create the best project I could have while still having a full course load with clubs.”
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: “I would tell myself to be less nervous and stay more present. I wish I could’ve enjoyed more things from ninth grade without worrying too much about grades or the rest of high school.”
