Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: I enjoy coaching and participating in Academic Games, practicing Chinese yoyo for APEX and playing soccer.
Q: How is this years learning different than last years?
A: Classes got a lot busier this year and I find that I have more commitments outside of school as well.
Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?
A: I find AP Chemistry the most interesting because I’m able to participate in labs and see and learn about why things work on a chemical level.
Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?
A: I’m surprised how much I started learning this year. Advanced classes like AP U.S. History, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus BC opened my eyes to so many different topics and helped me find a direction.
Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: I liked personal project. I got to work on programming which was something I was interested in that I usually don’t get to do while in school. I ended up programming a game and there were lots of errors throughout the process and it was quite hard to find the root causes.
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: I think I would talk to more people and make more friends.
