Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: Every year, I go to Brazil, and I enjoy playing volleyball. I play for the club HVVC on a national team, and I also play for the school season and Huron.
Q: How is this year’s learning different from last year’s?
A: I feel that I’m more engaged in learning this year, and I also believe that I find my classes easier because there are more resources available.
Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?
A: The classes I found most interesting this year were my government class and my ceramics class because I found that they are very hands-on, and in my ceramics class, I like to work with clay, and in government, I enjoy hands-on activities and visual activities, and I feel like we do a lot of that.
Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?
A: I wasn’t expecting teachers to really enforce the phone rule because I found that last year, towards the end of the semester, they started to stop enforcing that rule.
Q: What are your thoughts about your personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: I thought that personal project was fun, although it was pretty tedious. I still think it served a purpose.
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: I would try to be more focused in classes and study more important material as we learnt it, so I would have a better understanding of the material.
