Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: Hi, my name is Lola. I’m a sophomore. I really love to read, I do theatre and, in the fall, I do field hockey.
Q: How is this years learning different than last years?
A: I mean, for obvious reasons, it’s a lot harder, especially with AP U.S. History (APUSH) which will be the death of me. Overall, though, I think it’s a lot more fun and stimulating.
Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?
A: Definitely APUSH because there’s a lot of content and history is my favorite subject.
Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?
A: I’m honestly surprised about the phone policy. I thought they were going to be chill about that, but I guess not.
Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: It was really boring, not going to lie. I feel like they gave us a lot of time that I didn’t really need. I ended up writing a bunch of little cards for the psychiatric inpatient unit at the University of Michigan hospital.
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: I think I would try to get to know more people outside of my grade and branch out more.
