Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: My name’s Thisali and I’m a junior. I play field hockey and I like to bake.
Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?
A: I would recommend taking APUSH. Even though I’m not a history person, I thought the class was interesting and I think it’s good to know at least some of history.
Q: What’s an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: I can speak two languages.
Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
A: Hopefully employed and living somewhere warm with a dog.
Q: How do you feel about starting junior year and why?
A: I think it’s definitely a lot of work with harder classes, the SAT, and extracurriculars, but it has been okay.
Q: Who is your idol and why?
A: Jane Goodall, because I love her perseverance and how she pushed boundaries for both women and science.
Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?
A: I think I’ve learned and am still learning time management skills. This year especially, since I’ve been balancing so many things.
