Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “I climb and run a bit.”
Q: How is this year’s learning different from last year’s?
A: “The classes were a lot harder and I had to spend a lot more time on homework and stuff.”
Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?
A: “Engineering because it feels more hands on, and you get to do more stuff like designing something and then making it.”
Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?
A: “I was surprised at how much harder some of the classes were than last year and it made some of my classes from last year feel easy compared to some of the classes I have this year.”
Q: What are your thoughts about your personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: “I thought it was cool because you got to focus on something you wanted to do, but I found that I didn’t really have that much time for it, so I just did most of it in a short period of time. I also found that it was easier to do the actual project than write criteria about it.”
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: “I think I would try to do more homework to prepare myself for classes with more homework in the future.”
