As media moves further and further into the internet, physical media becomes all the more precious. Owning something rather than just consuming it through a public domain is so personal, but finding it can be a feat. Isha is a senior on her third and final year on the Emery. She is the founder and editor of the Sound of the River Zine, which posts every Friday. Isha is the president of the Sexual Assault Awareness Club and volunteers at the Humane Society. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, attending shows in the Ann Arbor area, watching movies, and spending time with the people she loves. Her favorite movie is Trainspotting and her favorite flavor of ice cream is cookie dough.

Ava is currently in 12th grade and this is her first year on the Emery’s staff. In her free time she likes to make art and music, like printmaking and playing the bass. Ava’s favorite movie is The Royal Tenenbaums and her favorite flavor of ice cream is mint chip.
