Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.
A: Hi, my name is Stuti and I’m a sophomore at Huron. I love talking with my friends at lunch. I’m in BPA, ISA, and UNICEF. Outside of school I work and enjoy reading and movies.
Q: What was your favorite Huron event from last year, and what did you like about it?
A: My favorite event last year was multiculti. I liked it because I was able to meet so many new people and make friends too. The practices and bonding events we did as ISA during multiculti were so much fun and definitely a core part of freshman year.
Q: What is your favorite class at Huron and what do you like about it?
A: My favorite class right now is Intro to Psych. I like it because it’s a pretty chill class and I’m really interested in all the topics we learn about.
Q: What is a class you want to take in the future, and why does it interest you?
A: I’m interested in taking DP Psych. I want to take it because I’m really interested in psychology and since I want to go into that field I think it would be a good class to take.
Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers at Huron and why?
A: Ms.Kapali is definitely one of my favorites, she’s so nice and makes her class genuinely enjoyable. I don’t think I’ve ever not wanted to go to her class. I love talking to her about random things and things related to psych.
Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: I honestly hated personal project. I don’t think it was challenging per se , it was more just annoying to do. I ended up making a matching outfit for my teddy bear which was kind of cool for me however it’s not something I’d like to do again.
Q: What is your favorite memory from last year and why?
A: I think my favorite memory last year was semester one of WHAG. My friend and I ended up talking to the three people sitting behind us and it turned into good friendships and made the class fun to be in.
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: I think it would be to change how much I tried to do. I tried to join every club ever along with a sport and my classes which didn’t benefit me at all, especially since I wasn’t very interested in half the clubs I joined and dropped them midyear.
Q: What is something you weren’t expecting about sophomore year?
A: I wasn’t expecting the difference in difficulty in my classes. Freshman year was very easy so I thought sophomore year would be too but that was definitely not the case.
Q: What is an interesting face or hidden talent about yourself?
A: I don’t think I have one.
Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: Mint chocolate chip ice cream is fire.
