Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: “Hi, I’m Rebecca. I like playing violin and I do ice hockey and tennis.”

Q: How is this year’s learning different from last years?

A: “It’s so much easier. I moved from China last year, and it was a big difference.”

Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?

A: “Spanish. It’s really cool to learn a new language and Spanish is fun. It’s my first time learning a new language in a classroom.”

Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?

A: “So much freedom. I didn’t know that my English was this good, and that my life here would be this smooth.”

Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?

A: “I wouldn’t work that hard there in China to get good grades.”
