Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “I play softball, read and enjoy painting. I’ve been playing softball for about 12 years and have always enjoyed exploring different medias when painting as well as reading sci-fi, romance and classic literature.”
Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?
A: “Definitely Ethics Bowl. Ethics Bowl is a club where you can engage in very intellectually challenging conversations that give you perspective on many different things in life.”
Q: How are you feeling about graduating this year?
A: “I’m feeling good, excited to see what the future holds. Waves of nostalgia haven’t hit me as much as I would’ve expected, but that’s probably because I’m looking forward and not behind me.”
Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?
A: “Meeting my best friend sophomore year in physics. I went up to her and complimented her outfit and she complimented mine. We’re still best friends to this day.”
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?
A: “Don’t be afraid of meeting new people even if it’s not a long lasting friendship. Friends come and go, and people you get along with for one year may or may not stay in your life, and that’s ok.”
Q: What will you miss most about high school?
A: “Being able to go to school with all of my closest friends. I probably won’t be going to school with many of them next fall, and it’s going to be very weird not seeing those everyday people in your life from one minute to the next.”
