On Saturday, Jan. 24, Huron High School men’s varsity hockey played against Madison Heights Bishop Foley at Biggby Coffee Ice Cube, with the bleachers filled with eager supporters to witness the game.
The game kicked off around 5 p.m., with both teams showcasing their hockey skills. Huron took the lead quickly, with goals scored by juniors Andrew Lee, Ashu Mehta-Rueger and Benny Tarnutzer, helping contribute to the score.
In addition to these goals, the game showcased junior Colin Murray’s defensive skills, blocking attempts by Madison Heights Bishop Foley to get the hockey puck into Huron’s net.
Huron also benefited from assists, notably by junior Granger Conley, senior TJ Conley and junior AJ Kennedy, which helped Huron further maintain control over the game.
Once the final buzzer sounded, the game concluded with Huron emerging victorious over Madison Heights with a score of 3-0.
