Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and the things you do in and out of school.
A: I’m a sophomore in high school and the extracurricular that I have is HOSA which is like a Health Sciences club. It’s really fun. You learn a lot about health and stuff like that. Outside of school I just like listening to music and going on walks and stuff like that.

Q: What was your favorite Huron event from last year, and what did you like about it?
A: I liked homecoming a lot just because I went with my friends and it was really fun. And it was like my first sort of dance experience.

Q: What is your favorite class at Huron and what do you like about it?
A: Right now it is probably chemistry just because I have a lot of friends in it. We haven’t started the course material yet, but it’s fun so far.

Q: What is a class you want to take in the future, and why does it interest you?
A: I like health sciences. Just because that’s the field that I’m interested in. And for my parents like you do a lot as you can also like shadows like real life and stuff.

Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers at Huron and why?
A: No favorite teacher.

Q: What are your thoughts about your personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: I mean, it’s pretty easy. If you don’t like the class period, you can mostly just chill and work on other stuff. That’s mostly what I did. However, I procrastinate a lot, and I didn’t start making my product until the last few weeks, but I was working on it like a miniature house model.

Q: What is your favorite memory from last year and why?
A: The same thing I mentioned from my favorite event.

Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: I think I probably would have just liked studying more and gotten more into studying because there are times when I procrastinate or I’m not getting work done.

Q: What is something you weren’t expecting about sophomore year?
A: I wasn’t expecting that. I feel like I have a lot more friends in my classes than last year.

Q: What is an interesting face or hidden talent about yourself?
A: My elbows are double-jointed.

Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: To be honest, I feel like furries aren’t that bad.
