Senior Sunday: Joe O’Neal

Quinn Newhouse, Sports Editor

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: My name is Joe. I’m a senior. I am a member of the Huron swim team. I also enjoy biking.

Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?

A: I would recommend that everyone take apush with Mrs Jones or personal finance with Mrs Garrett. Those classes had very big impacts on me.

Q: How are you feeling about graduating this year?

A: I’m very glad about graduating this year. Although I have had some very positive moments at Huron, I’m glad to move on to my next chapter and get out of Ann Arbor.

Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?

A: ten years from now I will remember getting my state cut for swim. I had worked very hard for it all year and I had my whole team supporting me so it was a very emotional and fun moment.

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?

A: I would tell freshman me to just sleep. If you get your sleep schedule fixed everything in life is far easier.
