Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: “I’m doing Huron players, I also do choir. Outside of school I dance, and I play piano.”

Q: How would you describe your transition from middle to high school?

A:  “The classes are harder but manageable, and everything is definitely bigger.”

Q: What class is the most interesting this year and why?

A: “Math class so far, I actually like Geometry, compared to Algebra. I guess maybe Choir? But yeah, probably Math.”

Q: What are 3 words to describe your first year of high school so far and why did you choose them?

A: “I would say promising, there are a bunch of cool opportunities. Interesting, because most of the classes are a lot more interesting now. Overwhelming, just because it’s a lot.”

Q: How has high school surprised you so far? Were there any skills you had to learn to get work done or fit school into your schedule?

A: “Walking fast. Definitely. It’s surprising to me how the school day moves so quickly.”

Q: How are you feeling about the start of the school year?

A: “I’m feeling pretty good. I’m definitely worried for a few of my friends, but I‘ll be fine. I think.”

Q: How do you want to remember your high school experience four years later? What are you doing now or how do you plan to make that happen?

A: “I want to make a lot of new friends, get good grades, and make honor roll. I also want to join or make my own club, and join Huron players.”
