Senior Kennedy Kelly goes to Ann Arbor Huron high school and is president of Black Student Union.

Q: Who’s your favorite teacher/class and why?

A: “My favorite teacher is Mrs.Wright although I didn’t have her in a class this year I had her in African American lit my junior year. She’s very knowledgeable and has a lot of insight on black history, she taught me things I never knew and had me reading books I had never heard of.”

 

Q: What was your favorite activity/sport/club?

A: “My favorite club is Black Student Union because as a member and being president I love being a part of a smaller community with open-minded and welcoming individuals that want to spread awareness about black culture as well as discuss and debate issues in today’s society affecting the black community.” 

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

A: “I see myself being comfortable and financially stable.” 

 

Q: What’s one word to describe your high school experience?

A: “Growth.”
