Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A:  “Hi, I’m Brandon Lin. I’m 18 years old, and I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I went to King Elementary School, Clague Middle School, and now I am currently a senior at Huron High School. I like running and am a member of the cross country team. I also enjoy playing video games and hanging out with friends.”

Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?

A: “I personally recommend taking AP statistics. Although it’s a math class, it is fun to take with friends, and the teacher is really great! I had Mr. Schiutiman, and he always made the class engaging and entertaining.”

Q: What is the biggest difference between freshman year you and you today?

A: “I believe the biggest difference is that I am now more open to talking and meeting new people.”

Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?

A:  “The one memory that I will remember is the virtual learning from home during quarantine.”

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?

A:  “Be more open! Try learning new things and meeting more people.”

Q: What will you miss most about high school?

A: “I will miss hanging out with my high school friends.”

Q: What are your plans for next year?

A: “I am planning to attend college (either WashU or U of M) next year. I am still undecided on a major at the moment.”
