Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A: “My name is Samuel Kerekes, I am a freshman at Huron High school. I have only been in the building once, and I have a sibling at Huron.”

Q: What has been your favorite part about this school year?

A: “I have been in virtual school for the school year so far, so I have been limited in what I can experience. However, I enjoyed never being late to school and the extra time from not having to prepare as much for school.”

Q: What do you miss about Huron?

A: “I have never been to Huron to learn, only to pick up books at the start of the year. I can’t miss anything if I have never been there.”

Q: What is one goal you have for this year?

A: “I would usually answer this question in in-person school by saying that I would improve my handwriting, but since that is not an option, I have the goal of typing faster. This would help me in online school and many other situations.”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?

A: “Math, because my teacher, Ms. Kass is a fun Teacher, and she lets us draw on the board during breaks. Math is also generally useful in life, and for learning more math in the future.”

Q: What hobbies/sports do you do?

A: “I don’t play any sports, but I play the trumpet for the band and a few things outside of school. I like to bike a bit and walk outside when it is warm. Nothing too special.”
