Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A: “Hi, my name is Kate Hurley and I am a junior. I am on the women’s field hockey, ice hockey and soccer teams at Huron. I enjoy hanging out with friends in my free time.”

Q: What has been your favorite part about this school year?

A: “Some of my favorite parts of this school year have been having more independence with my schedule, as well as getting to sleep in more than usual.”

Q: What do you miss about Huron?

A: “I miss seeing my friends and teachers at Huron and going to school events and sports games.”

Q: What is one goal you have for this year?

A: “One goal that I have for this year is to be more laid back and to go with the flow because this year has shown me that things can drastically change very quickly.”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?

A: “My favorite class this year is probably English, because online learning is not too different from in-person learning in English class, whereas in other subjects, things do not translate as well from teaching in-person to online.”

Q: What hobbies/sports do you do?

A: “I play several sports, including field hockey, ice hockey, soccer and tennis. I am also in Huron’s band and drumline. Over the summer, I am a counselor at a summer camp.”
