Sophomore Saturday: Dennis Vega

Dennis Vega is a Sophomore at Huron High School. He is excited for his government class.

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A:  “I’m a sophomore at Huron High School and I play football. My favorite color is blue.”

 

Q: After spending a year with classmates virtually, what’s it been like to finally see people in person? 

A: “It’s been better because we get to learn one on one more and we get people to talk to people in class.”

 

Q: Who helped you the most in getting through last year and why? 

A: “The counselors and my family by supporting me.”

 

Q: Describe something about coming back to school in person that has surprised you?

A: “The teacher are more interactive with people and the class.”

 

Q: Which of your classes are you most excited for and why?

A: “Government and chemistry because of lab work. In government we can learn about more cultures in the world.”

 

Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be? 

A: “To pay attention in class and do my work.”
