AAPS is continuing to keep schools closed tomorrow, Jan. 17, due to building issues within multiple schools, a continuation of low temperatures and icy roads. Finals have been pushed back two days. According to www.novaregion.org, salt fails to melt ice and snow at temperatures below 15 degrees Fahrenheit. In Ann Arbor, it has been around 8 degrees Fahrenheit the past two days. Tomorrow’s forecast as of Tuesday Jan. 16 at 6:45 p.m. is 4 degrees Fahrenheit.
