Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: “I am a senior in Huron high school. My name is Erkush Erdenebat and I’m the captain of the water polo team. Yeah, that’s the sport that I do for school and that is one of my like, number one hobbies too.”

Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?

A: “I would highly recommend doing any sport. And I am a bit biased because I am a captain of the water polo team and I would say do water polo, it is a very good sport, and it’s one of the hardest sports out there so why not challenge yourself while you can.”

Q: How are you feeling about graduating this year?

A: “It sort of feels surreal, It doesn’t feel like that anything special is going on even though I know its my last year of high school, and I don’t know it just feels sort of nice.”

Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?

A: “I will definitely remember the fun times I had with friends like with social activities that school had like homecoming and other stuff, especially sports wise. I will also remember taking the classes that I actually wanted to like auto shop and physics. And other memories that just stick out from my experience here.”

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?

A: “One piece of advice I would give to my freshman self would be to take more AP tests and challenge myself a bit more because I kind of regret not taking advantage of AP classes.”

Q: What will you miss most about high school?

A: “I think I will miss the experience the most, I don’t think after high school you get another experience quite like the school system like you don’t get to come to school for like eight hours, sometimes hanging out with friends and going to clubs and field trips, so enjoy it while you can.”
