Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: “I like using my computer and playing soccer for Huron High School. I play forward and defender on the freshman team.”

Q: How would you describe your transition from middle to high school?

A: “Complicated from the pandemic. I wasn’t used to being in the building at first, but I got used to it after a while.”

A: “I like taking engineering design because it was fun and it gave me a lot of freedom and creativity.”

Q: What are 3 words to describe your first year of high school so far and why did you choose them?

A: “Refreshing, fun, and tiring. It was good to see all my friends again, but super tiring because I wasn’t used to waking up early, and wasn’t used to the amount of schoolwork.”

Q: How has high school surprised you so far? Were there any skills you had to learn to get work done or fit school into your schedule?

A: “It surprised me how many people there were and I had to learn discipline to wake up and do my schoolwork.”

Q: How are you feeling about the end of the school year?

A: “The school year has felt super short, and was overall a good experience.”

Q: How do you want to remember your high school experience four years later? What are you doing now or how do you plan to make that happen?

A: “I plan on working hard to keep up with my good grades, make friends. I also plan on having fun to remember high school.”
