Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: “Hi I’m Mundar Chen. I’m 17 years old and I was born in Mesa, Arizona. I moved to Ann Arbor when I was 8. I went to King Elementary School, Clague Middle School, and now I am currently a senior at Huron High School. I enjoy playing soccer and am a member of the varsity soccer team.”

Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?

A: “I personally recommend taking APUSH aka AP US History. Although the class requires a lot of work and dedication, it is fun to take with friends and the teacher is great!”

Q: What is the biggest difference between freshman-year you and you today?

A: “I believe I am more brave and am capable of taking on challenges in various settings.”

Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?

A: “When someone got thrown into the window under the arch and glass shattered everywhere.”

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?

A: “Communicate more. Ask for help when needed. “

Q: What will you miss most about high school?

A: “Interacting with my friends, taking classes together, and messing around in the hallways.”

Q: What are your plans for next year?

A: “I am planning to attend college, hopefully the University of Michigan, next year. I am still undecided on a major at the moment.”
