At 7:36 a.m. a communication was sent out that the Huron Homecoming Dance will now take place under the arch tomorrow, Sept.  25,  due to weather conditions from 8-11 p.m. 

“I think that it’s going to be very difficult,” senior Mya Georgiadis said. “There’s definitely a wind circuit from walking and being under the arch and it’s frustrating. I’m worried that it’s not going to be fun and people aren’t going to show up.” 

Due to this change, heels are now permitted. 

The communication reads that all students are encouraged to wear masks and stay socially distanced regardless of whether students are vaccinated or not. Food and drinks will be provided for purchase.
