As of Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, the Michigan High School Sports Association has announced that all winter contact sports must remain non-contact until Feb. 21, 2021. This comes after the previous emergency order for non-contact practices was set to expire at the end of January, allowing contact practice starting on Feb. 1. Spring sports are still scheduled to begin on March 15.
