Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A: “I am a Spanish teacher and I enjoy learning about and teaching the language.”

Q: What has been your favorite part about this school year?

A: “I’ve enjoyed sleeping in later than usual and not having to drive in the snow to work! It’s also great to be able to eat lunch at home.”

Q: What do you miss about Huron?

A: “I miss seeing my students in person, my colleagues, and the overall Huron vibe (music on Fridays, for example).”

Q: What is one goal you have for this year?

A: “I’m trying to learn Finnish so I can one day visit Finland. My dad’s side of the family is originally from Finland. The language is very difficult!”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?

A: “I am no longer a student, but my favorite class to teach is DP Spanish here at Huron. The students are incredible and I get to work closely with my partner in crime, Ms. Herskowitz!”

Q: What hobbies/sports do you do?

A: “I play a lot of board games! I also enjoy painting, eating, gardening, and playing with my dogs. As far as sports, I am a black belt in Isshinryu karate and I also practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu and yoga.”
