Sophomore Saturday: Ajay Dass

Visruth Rajendiran, Staff Writer

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A: “Hello, my name is Ajay Dass, I am a sophomore at Huron Highschool. I play tennis and I love meeting new people and making new friends.”

Q: What has been your favorite part about this school year?

A: My favorite part of this school year is probably how the organization and how everything is set up. I can learn new things like any previous school year. I also like that I can still socialize with friends in a socially distant manner.

Q: What do you miss about Huron?

A: I miss seeing all of my peers when going to school in the morning. It was definitely something I took for granted [back then]. I would wake up, eat breakfast and go to school. I would see everyone at school like a normal day. But under the new circumstances, I cannot see anyone at all. So, seeing all of my friends in one place is something I miss a lot.

Q: What is one goal you have for this year?

A: One goal I have this year is to keep doing well in school despite [the fact that] school is online and that we are adjusting to this new learning environment.”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?

A: My favorite class right now is probably chemistry because I find it very interesting and I enjoy the things we learn in that class.

Q: What hobbies/sports do you do?

A: Some hobbies/sports of mine include playing tennis and playing the cello.
