Senior Sunday: Peter Hagan
February 7, 2021
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
A: “I’m 17 and a senior this year. I have five little siblings, I like eating Chipotle, and I’m pretty tall, so most people assume that I play basketball but I play golf for Huron. Academically, I’ve always been into science but I’m also interested in public policy and history.”
Q: What has been your favorite part about this school year?
A: “Being able to sleep in and hang out with my siblings more. It’s also been nice not having to rush getting ready for school every morning because all I have to do now is roll out of bed and turn my computer on.”
Q: What do you miss about Huron?
A: “I miss seeing my friends and being able to go to football and basketball games. I also miss being able to do band and jazz band in-person.”
Q: What is one goal you have for this year?
A: “My main goals this year are to stay positive and to take advantage of the extra time that I have because of online school. Hopefully, I can look back on my senior year and be happy with what I accomplished even with how unorthodox everything’s been this year.”
Q: What is your favorite class and why?
A: “My favorite class right now is probably global politics because it allows me to explore international governments and societies from a lot of different perspectives while also having some pretty interesting discussions with Mr. Face and the rest of the class.”
Q: What hobbies/sports do you do?
A: “I play golf for Huron in the spring and in my free time I spend a lot of time outside biking, hammocking, playing basketball, etc.”
