It was an emotional last game for the men’s varsity soccer team. Losing to the Dexter Dreadnaughts 3-1, the boys ended their district-run in the first match-up.
“We didn’t want our season to end soon,” junior captain Djimo Kouyate said. “In the end, we didn’t receive what we were expecting. Our season wasn’t great or bad.”
For junior Adam Kasham it ended his first season with the varsity team.
“It wasn’t what I was expecting but I know we all learned from it,” Kasham said. “We need to work on our weaknesses, and work to use other team’s weaknesses against them.”
The season didn’t have the outcome they were looking for, and the boys finished with a 4-8 record.
