Q: What is your favorite club/activity?
A: “My favorite club would either be Black Student Union or Mock Trial.”
Q: One word to describe your first semester of high school?
A: “Wild.”
Q:What is your favorite class you are taking, and why?
A: “My favorite class would probably be Engineering, because it’s challenging, but also fun.”
Q: What classes do you look forward to taking next year?
A: “Some classes I’m looking forward to taking include: possibly law, PLTW, and African American Humanities.”
Q: What is the biggest difference between middle school and high school for you?
A: “The biggest difference between middle school and high school for me, was the fact that nobody really holds your hand anymore. Teachers hold you to a standard that requires integrity and honesty, meanwhile in middle school, the teachers made sure you had all you assignments in and made sure you were all straight. High school isn’t like that.”
Q: Where do you see yourself at the end of senior year?
A: “At the end of my senior year, I see myself winning a state championship for Huron basketball, celebrating a win in mock trial states, a board member for BSU, and preparing to go to an HBCU D1 college.”
Q: What is one goal you have by the end of this year?
A: “A goal I have for this year is to finish this last semester with a 4.0.”
Q: Do you have plans for next year’s classes?
A: “As of right now I don’t have any particular plans for next years classes, except to get all A’s in each of them.”
