Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.

A: My name is Maberick. I’m from Nicaragua, I am 15 years old. In school, I pay attention in class, and outside of school, I take care of my sister. Also, I love exercise along with making dinner for my parents because they are not always at home. 

Q: What was your favorite Huron event from last year, and what did you like about it? 

A: Probably Multiculti because my best friend was dancing and representing the Latin culture. 

Q: What is your favorite class at Huron and what do you like about it?

A: I would say darkroom photography because the class is so fun.

Q: What is a class you want to take in the future, and why does it interest you?

A: I want to take the auto class in the future because I like cars.

Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers at Huron and why?

A: Mr.Verdugo is one of my favorite teachers; he is very cool. 

Q: What is your favorite memory from last year and why?

A: The last day of school, because I really love the feeling of being free for 2 months.

Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be? 

A: I would say take a shower and cut my hair. 

Q: What is something you weren’t expecting about sophomore year?

A: I didn’t expect it to be so difficult.  

Q: What is an interesting face or hidden talent about yourself?

A: I have the talent of not having any talent.

A: A hot take of mine is Monkey D. Luffy is better.
