Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.
A: I’m 15 years old and I like to try new foods, hang out with my friends, volunteer, read, and play Brawl Stars!
Q: What was your favorite Huron event from last year, and what did you like about it?
A: The Spain trip with the Huron Orchestras and Band, because it was like the Kardashian show—chaotic but relatively fun.
Q: What is your favorite class at Huron and what do you like about it?
A: It’s a tie between English 9 and Biology because those classes were pretty laid back and chill.
Q: What is a class you want to take in the future, and why does it interest you?
A: Yoga because it’s a chill class and yoga is relaxing. I also want to learn how to do the downward dog!
Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers at Huron and why?
A: Ms. Echlin, because she makes AP Gov. more bearable.
Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?
A: I’m making candles for my personal project because I like doing arts and crafts. One challenge I’ve faced so far is finding the right time to do my project, and balancing personal project with my other classes.
Q: What is your favorite memory from last year and why?
A: I liked doing the potato lab in Biology because it was fun and I got to make a cute potato.
Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?
A: I’d be more ambitious through joining more clubs and participating more in class. I’d also like to change my freshman year fashion sense.
Q: What is something you weren’t expecting about sophomore year?
A: Sophomore year has a lot more work than freshman year, although it depends on the amount of AP classes you take.
Q: What is an interesting face or hidden talent about yourself?
A: My tongue can touch my nose.
Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: I like pineapple on pizza, and I also prefer to pour in milk before cereal.
