Senior Sunday: Evan Tinkham

Q: Tell me a little about yourself and things you do in and out of school?

A: My name is Evan. In school, I get my work done [and] I play basketball. I’m a student athlete. Outside of school, I hang out with my friends. I like clothes, I like to play games, and I like to take pictures.

 

Q: Out of all your clubs, extracurriculars, and sports, which one is your favorite and why?

A: Basketball, because I play on the team.

 

Q: What is your favorite Huron event? (Multi Culti, Pep Rally, Homecoming, etc)

A: I would say the pep rally because it’s fun to be outside and everyone is having fun.

 

Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and what do you like about it?

A: My favorite spot at Huron is The Greenhouse because I work there sometimes, I make cookies, and I eat my lunch there.

 

Q: What is your favorite high school memory?

A: My favorite high school memory is probably my personal project class in sophomore year. That class was just fun and I had a lot of friends in there.

 

Q: Who is one of your favorite teachers and why?

A: My favorite teacher is Ms. Garrett because she is always so positive and uplifting.

 

Q:  Which of the classes that you’ve taken is your favorite and why?

A: Gym class, because I had a lot of friends in it and we just got to play and have fun.

 

Q: What are you thinking of doing after high school?

A: After high school I want to become a realtor. I’ll probably go to WCC.

 

Q: What is something you’d redo throughout your high school experience if you could start over?

A: Not sleep through all my COVID classes.

 

Q: What piece of advice would you give to the underclassmen?

A: To not procrastinate and get your work done immediately.

 

Q: What is a hot take of yours?

A: Sambas are the best shoes ever.

 

Q: What will you miss most about high school?

A: I guess seeing some of the people that I would talk to in school that I probably won’t talk to much outside of school.
