Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “ I like to play soccer, I play for Huron. I’m a freshman. I really like to go outside and go to places with my friends. I love Cedar Point and all the roller coasters I’ve been to tons of times”
Q: How would you describe your transition from middle to high school?
A: “It was honestly pretty smooth. I didn’t really notice a difference in the workload. So far, there’s not much homework but just more responsibility. And the school is so big, it’s hard to find places.”
Q: What class is the most interesting so far and why?
A: “I really have enjoyed history. I have a lot of friends in that class and I think the energy in there is really fun and we’ve been learning about some interesting topics.”
Q: What are 3 words to describe your first months of high school and why?
A: “Fun, Easy, and Exciting”
Q: How has high school surprised you so far? Were there any skills you had to learn to get work done or fit school into your schedule?
A: “I wouldn’t say there was anything I had to learn, but I think it’s been pretty easy. I think the first month has actually been really fun. I’ve enjoyed coming to school every day. Getting up early was really what I had to work on. And I had to ride the bus a couple of times. So that was new for me, I’d never ridden the bus before.”
Q: How do you want to remember your high school experience four years later? What are you doing now or how do you plan to make that happen?
A: “I want to remember it as a fun time where I really got to learn what I wanted to do. Find a passion and I just plan on trying new things, meeting new people and having a good time without taking it too seriously.”
