Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: Hi, I’m Isaac. I am very involved in Debate Club and Student Council, and I run cross country.
Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?
A: I would recommend Debate Club. As the unbiased president and co-founder, I think it’s a great opportunity to build community, learn public speaking skills, and create college application material.
Q: How are you feeling about graduating this year?
A: I feel great about graduating this year. I want to go to college. I’m very ready for college. I want to leave my parents. The freedom is exciting.
Q: Ten years from now, what is one high school memory you will still remember?
A: I’ll probably remember asking out every senior to prom because I thought it would be a good flex to take a senior girl to prom. It did not succeed, but it was a fun and memorable experience. It brought a lot of teacher attention, which was funny. For example, one teacher tweeted that he saw the biggest prom proposal fail.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?
A: Learn time management, don’t get stressed, and have a good time.
Q: What will you miss most about high school?
A: Other than the people, the thing I’ll miss the most about high school is doing stupid things with my friends.
