Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: I’m a freshman at Huron High School. I’m Chinese and Japanese and moved to Michigan when I was around 1 month old. My after school activities include swimming and marching band that I like very much.
Q: How would you describe your transition from middle to high school?
A: Clean, it’s not that much different except buildings and the amount of people/new people.
Q: What class is the most interesting so far and why?
A: French because we are already learning stuff and not learning about the syllabuses, and I have a friend there so it’s not as bad.
Q: What are 3 words to describe your first months of high school and why?
A: Interesting, New, Quick.
Q: How has high school surprised you so far? Were there any skills you had to learn to get work done or fit school into your schedule?
A: With two after-school activities that almost overlap, it is pretty hard to stay awake, but I learned how to keep up with my schedule so far. I also learned how to email my teachers more efficiently.
Q: How do you want to remember your high school experience four years later? What are you doing now or how do you plan to make that happen?
A: A learning experience, and fun place where I enjoyed my teenage years. I’m trying to make new friends, study, and keep up with my planner.
