Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: I enjoy cooking food that represents my culture, such as Afghan food.

Q: How is this year’s learning different from last years?

A: This year is a lot tougher, especially since there are more required classes that I have to take. I also met new people this year.

Q: Which classes have you found the most interesting and why?

A: I have found government to be interesting because I liked the way I was taught by Ms. Echlin. Also yoga has been very interesting because I was able to learn a lot about myself and it was a cool physical activity.

Q: Describe something that surprised you coming back to school this year that you weren’t expecting?

A: Something that surprised me was how much more work there was this year.

Q: What are your thoughts about personal project? What were some challenges you have faced so far? What are you working on?

A: Personal project was a very fun and interesting experience, because I was able to pick what to do in the class. Some challenges I faced were choosing my topic and time management. I worked on my planning and organization skills.

Q: If you could change one thing from your freshman self, what would it be?

A:  I would change my procrastination habits and work on my time management.
