Junior Jumpstart Monday: Zubair Alam

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.

A: “My name is Zubair Alam. I am a Junior at Huron. I play volleyball for Ann Arbor United, a club we newly formed this year. I like being creative and expressing myself through crafts.” 

 

Q: What is one class/club you would recommend to underclassmen? Why?

A: “I would recommend student council because you get to be involved in fun events and activities!”

 

Q: What’s an interesting/unique fact about yourself?

A: “I have attended an anime convention before.”

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

A: “I see myself making money in a job that I enjoy.” 

 

Q: How do you feel about starting Junior year and why?

A: “Junior year is my favorite year of high school because of my friends and the opportunities I’ve been a part of.”

 

Q: Who is your idol and why?

A: “There is not a specific person, but I look up to people who push past hard times.”  

 

Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?

A: “Good work ethic gets you far.”
