Something that all communities rely and revolve around is service, and Interact is determined to focus on just that. Motivated by the motto “Service above Self,” Interact is a student run organization focused on improving the surrounding community and leadership skills. 

“The point of the club is simply to help out the community,” club president Zoe Zhang said. “And we do that by volunteering and creating other projects.” 

One specific project they are planning for this year is providing gifts and letters to the elderly at the Glacier Hills retirement facility. 

“This club is a really good introduction to leadership positions for sophomores and freshmen,” said Zhang. “It’s also really good to include on college applications and other resumes.”

Interact meets once a month on the first Monday of every month, in room 4211!
