Sophomore Saturday: Wilmer Larzo Garcia

Q: “How old are you and what grade are you in?”

A: “I’m 15 years old and in 10th grade.”

 

Q: “Do you play any sports? If so which ones?”

A: “I play soccer and I played baseball last year.”

 

Q: “How long have you played soccer for?”

A: “I’ve played soccer since I was 10 so around 5-6 years.”

 

Q: “What is your favorite thing to do at Huron and why?”

A: “My favorite thing to do at Huron is soccer because I get to go to practice everyday with my friends.”

 

Q: “What is an academic goal you have for high school?  Why?”

A: “An academic goal I have is to finish high school with a 3.6 or higher GPA so that I am able to get into a good college.”

 

Q: “Who is your favorite teacher and why?”

A: “My favorite teacher was Mr. Milne.  I just loved his class and the way he taught history.”

 

Q: “What is your favorite subject? Why?”

A: “My favorite subject is probably history because I just love to learn stuff about our government and our history.”

 

Q: “If you could change one thing about Huron what would it be and why?

A: “If I could change one thing about it, it would be to make the lunches longer because I just want to be able to chill with my friends in the parking lot for a longer time.”

 

Q: “What is your favorite memory at Huron so far? Why?”

A: “My favorite memory at Huon so far probably has to be one of the football games, I just love how the student section gets and getting to see all my friends having fun.”

 

Q: “What is your favorite memory in Huron Soccer?”

A: “My favorite memory in Huron Soccer would have to be senior night.  I played the Troy JV team before Varsity played and dominated.  Afterwards I stayed for senior night and it was just a vibe.”
